TRIGGER University: Who We Are

Since 2018, we have partnered with the DC Department of EmploymentServices Marion Barry Summer Youth Employment Program (SYEP) to provide paid summer jobs for more than 150 youth each year at TRIGGER University.

TRIGGER University: What We Do

Prevention is a verb and a noun. It takes action, people, safe places, and healthy things to do and be. Our evidence-based curriculum supports positive youth development through eight weeks of immersive social, emotional, and economic skill-building.

#YouthDayDC culminates TRIGGER University as a project-based learning event and graduation ceremony. We graduate youth ages 14-24 as the youngest Prevention experts in the world.
